As an American living in Paris, I cannot help but laugh. I must say, though, that many French people emphasize weight gain when recounting week-long vacations in the States, as opposed to so-called beautification.
Thoughts?

after looking at this and considering it, i dont think it has anything to do with weight gain. i think its a comment on the fact that american mentality is all about getting plastic surgery etc. she CLEARLY had a boob job, nose job, lip enhancement and of course the oh so cliche blond hair dying. i must say tho, after living so long in paris, americans are definitely the only ones who do the cosmetic surgery.
